OVERVIEW
Owls, foxes, birds, fish and human faces overlap and fracture into geometric shards. Each fragment is filled with its own pattern, from fine hatching and zigzags to dots and scales, in warm ochre, teal, violet and sky blue. No single face owns the space; every one of them borrows a line from its neighbour.
THE CONCEPT
Unione means union. The work looks at what happens when many different lives are pressed into the same frame: the edges stop being borders and start being shared. Up close it is a crowd; from a step back, it is one.
