the piece
This print reproduces a work in progress: a wall covered in sticky notes, one for every day, begun a couple of years ago. Each note holds an independent drawing, made in a few minutes and with no relation to the others.
THE idea
The aim is a steady practice: trying to make one drawing a day. Once the notes go up on the wall, though, the lines of one carry on into the next and the drawings seem to look for each other, without it ever being planned. The wall keeps growing; the one photographed here is its shape at one precise moment.
