Overview
Fins, feathers and faces tumble over one another in a single flowing movement. Blue carries everything, white gives it room to breathe, and small crescents of yellow catch the light like sun on the surface. Some creatures sleep, some watch, all of them move together.

THE idea
Water never holds still, and neither does anything that lives in it. The painting follows that restlessness: every line leads into the next, so the eye keeps swimming and never quite reaches the edge.
